Your past is the key to your current struggles. We look at where it started — not just what you're feeling now.
Most of our present struggles have roots in our past experiences. Your past is the key to your current struggles.
I use a bottom-up approach: we look at where it started, not just what you are feeling now. This means exploring the deeper layers of your story so that real, lasting change is possible.
IFS views the mind as made up of different "parts" — each with its own perspective and protective role. Rather than fighting difficult emotions, we get curious about them. IFS is especially effective for trauma, anxiety, self-criticism, and relationship patterns.
Mindfulness is central to my work. I help clients develop the capacity to observe their thoughts and emotions without being swept away by them. This creates space between stimulus and response — allowing for more intentional, conscious choices.
Our earliest attachment relationships shape how we relate to ourselves and others throughout life. This lens is woven throughout my work with individuals, teens, and couples.
Traditional "talk therapy" focuses on thoughts (top-down). My bottom-up approach also honors the body's wisdom and emotional experience. We work with what lives beneath the surface to create deeper, more embodied healing.
Everything I do is grounded in trauma-informed principles: safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment. We always go at your pace.
I integrate CBT tools to help identify and shift unhelpful thinking patterns, providing practical skills for managing anxiety and depression in daily life.
